Merry Christmas and assorted greetings of the season, HOTties!

I don’t think there are many among us who aren’t feeling a sense of loss this holiday season.

Some of you may be feeling that magnified loss more than others.

For some of you, life will get back to “normal”(ish) some time soon; hope glides on the horizon.

For others, life will never be normal again. Some of my HOTties have lost family this year, whether to Covid-19 or other causes.

I personally lost a HOTtie just a week ago.

I have no words of advice; no algorithms that suggest “the 5th Christmas is harder than the 3rd, but easier than the 1st”.

All I can offer is this—I’ve been there. I am there. I understand.
